Your online member forum is live – Welcome to the Council Corner

Big news! The “Council Corner” has launched!

The Council Corner is the member-voted name for your new, online member-to-member discussion forum. It’s a message board, a discussion space, an extension of our Help Desk, a networking platform, and the future of member-to-member digital interactions that will replace the Listserv.

On the Council Corner you can:

  • Connect and converse with fellow members and OCHCH staff
  • Ask questions and provide answers
  • Share and discover news
  • Join and participate in Member Committees

The Council Corner is integrated into our existing member portal, so you won’t need a separate account or login. You can navigate to the forum directly from the member dashboard, or visit OCHCH.org/Forum to learn more.

Whether you’re a regular user of online forums, or a novice, the Council Corner should be easy to use. It’s all very new so your feedback is essential to help us identify areas and features to improve. Hopefully, there will also be elements we nailed so let us know that too.



Wait, you said replace the Listserv?

While a shutdown date for the Listserv is not yet decided, the clock is ticking. The Listserv has been useful, but it’s also a serious email-generator, topics vanish to the far corners of your inbox, and not everything is equally interesting to everyone. We’re looking forward to consolidating our communications to ensure all member contacts are on the same page. The Listserv requires an entirely separate user database – meaning your whole team is not guaranteed to have access. The new forum is directly linked to our member database so all active members can enjoy the Council Corner.

In the Council Corner, members can post the same types of questions and replies as on the Listserv, but in a format that is inbox-friendly and searchable for future use.

  • Once you join groups, post, or reply to a discussion, you will receive a single daily digest email with updates about activity relevant to you.
  • OCHCH Staff and Help Desk Experts will also be on the Council Corner, so that interaction will continue.
  • The Council Corner is not replacing the Help Desk, it’s adding a new, modern tool to enhance support for our members.

Access & User Accounts

If you are not already logged in to our member portal, you will see a login screen when you visit the link to the forum. If you do not have an account, click the “Create One” link next to the sign in button. If you are already logged in, you may not see the login screen and will go directly to the Council Corner home page. Important: If you click the “forgot password” link and do not receive an email within 10 minutes, that means you probably do not have an account so move on to the “Create an Account” step. Contact us at ochch@ochch.org if you have any difficulties.

Account creation and password reset emails will come from ochch@ochch.org with the subject “Your OCHCH Account” and will contain a link to visit the portal and create a password. When you make your account, we highly recommend that you use your work email address as your username. After the login screen you will see the Council Corner Home Page.
