Announcing the 2026 OCHCH Education Pass! Lower Price. More Education.

A message from Lisa Von Lehmden, Executive Director, OCHCH

Over half of my career in home health and hospice has been spent in an ownership role, and it is through that lens—and with that responsibility—that I want to speak to you today. As owners, we understand the weight of every decision we make and the impact it has on our teams, our patients, and the future of our organizations.

With that in mind, the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice put tremendous thought and intentionality into designing next year’s Education Pass. The most exciting change for 2026 is a lower price for you. Smaller agencies will save $1,000 compared to 2025 and mid-size and larger agencies save $500! Click here for all the details

This is not just another offering. It is a strategic investment in the operational strength and long-term readiness of the workforce powering Ohio’s home health and hospice agencies.

By upgrading your membership with an Education Pass, everyone at your organization will receive unlimited no-cost or deeply discounted access to education—delivered by national experts like Healthcare Provider Solutions & Netsmart/McBee, homegrown Ohio leaders such as Kristy Pyles, Katie Eisel and our Expert Panel, and other innovative thinkers shaping the next generation of care delivery.

Our commitment is to bring you a thoughtful blend of strategic direction, Ohio-specific regulatory insight, traditional foundational education, and forward-looking, innovative content that keeps your team aligned with both Ohio and federal changes. We believe deeply in investing in our agencies and ensuring you have access to the level of training and insight required to stay ahead of the operational curve.

The 2026 calendar is under construction, but the Education Pass will cover favorites like Two-day OASIS Training, Home Health 101, the OCHN Managed Care series, and programs focused on Next Generation MyCare, HOPE, EVV, quality, revenue, coding, surveys, and much more. Click here for a list of past programming. New content will be added, and many sessions are offered annually with appropriate updates and revisions to match trends and industry changes.

If you choose not to obtain an Education Pass, your team can still register at member-favorable prices, but you will most certainly miss out on savings. For example, the member price for one Two-Day OASIS Training registration is normally $499 but would be $0 with an Education Pass. For smaller agencies, sending even one team member will cover your Education Pass cost!

What are the next steps?

  • Review the details and pricing on our website and let us know if you have questions.
  • If you had an Education Pass in 2025, you will be receiving an invoice to renew it at the new, lower price for 2026.
  • If your agency does not have a pass now, email Drew to have one added to your membership with immediate effect.

To all our agency leaders, I implore you to consider enrolling in the 2026 Education Pass. And to all the dedicated caregivers in our membership community, I urge you to speak to your colleagues and managers about adding this opportunity for everyone on your team. It is an opportunity to support each other, strengthen your organization, and reinforce the work of our state association as we continue to elevate home health and hospice across Ohio.

Thank you for your support and please have a happy, safe holiday season.
