November is National Home Care, Hospice, and Palliative Care Month. From all of us at OCHCH to all of our Ohio home care and hospice agencies, thank you!
This month of recognition was created to celebrate everything you do every day to care for Ohioans in their time of need. We are excited at the Ohio Council to be celebrating different facets of community based services on a weekly basis throughout the entire month. Beginning next week, we celebrate:
- Caring at Home: Ohio’s Heartfelt Heroes – Highlighting dedicated caregivers and healthcare professionals who provide essential services in the comfort of patients’ homes, truly heroes in the community.
- Ohio Strong: Nurturing Health from Home – Showcasing the strength and resilience of Ohio’s home care and hospice community and the role it serves in promoting health and well-being.
- Nurturing the Heart of Ohio – Focusing on the compassion and care that hospice and palliative care workers bring to the state of Ohio, delivering the human touch and emotional support that is so essential.
- Families, Health, and Home: Together Care – Recognizing the unity and support that families, healthcare providers, and the Ohio community provide when it comes to home care and hospice.
